The Eleven Patio House
A few blocks from Plaza Vasco de Quiroga is the Eleven Patio House, a construction built in 1742 and as it name says it, is characterized by its colonial style patios.
If you want to buy typical crafts of Pátzcuaro and the entire state of Michoacán, this site will not disappoint you since The Eleven Patio House is one of the main craft houses of this beautiful city.
Five of its eleven patios are destined exclusively for local craftsmen who sell their work, so it is very common to observe how the pieces that are for sale, are handmade wood, copper or manque, a typical material of this region.
In addition to the workshops of artisans, you can admire the architecture of this interesting place and know the history of what was once the Convent of Santa Catarina. A perfect place to take photos of your visit to Pátzcuaro and buy one of the best handicrafts in the country.
Stay a few more days to enjoy this city full of history.
